Karas exhorts to support the national producers

<p><strong>July 5, 2017, Yerevan</strong></p><p><strong>Karas has recently launched a program aimed to exhort the citizens of the Republic of Armenia to buy products of Armenian origin. Thus, we present to you the message of the directorate to the public</strong> </p><p>The number of Armenian producers in different fields, grows very fast, however, the demand of Armenian products is unnoticeable. We think that the local production is often underappreciated or ignored; businesses and factories experience losses and sometimes even shut down. Therefore, people lose their jobs, which is one of the main reasons for emigration.</p><p> Not only the consumers, but also the directors of shops and commercial networks, should pay attention to the issue because in most of the times products produced in Armenian market are competitive in price and quality. It would be right to separate the Armenian production in shops, including the agricultural production, making the decision easier to the consumer in favor of local production. We know that many people today try to support the Armenian producers, but the latter are in need of much more attention from the public.</p><p> That is why the Karas team has decided to organize this initiative and to draw the attention of the public to this important issue.</p><p> Besides, we think that one of the reasons of the issue is that the majority of the public does not know the Armenian producers and their production well enough because, compared to foreign companies, the local producers do not have enough budget or organize promotional campaigns. That is why, in the scope of the project, our team has visited dozens of Armenian businesses, factories and agricultural unions, in order to learn more about their activity.</p><p>Based on the visits, during the next two months, our chain will introduce many local producers and their products to the public, on online platforms.
